At the time of writing this [January 2004] I've been writing short stories for about six years. What began as a hobby soon became a monster! Each chapter is about a 10-15 minute read [or a 2-cummer, as one cheeky bugger put it], and there's enough stuff there to keep you happily occupied for a helluva long time.
The plots are based on actual events and set in a variety of countries. In some cases, such as 'The Codeman', the stories are true and the people are real. I've been lucky in that some of my friends have generously confided in me the stories of their lives, and have proven that fact is indeed stranger than fiction. However, I've penned quite a bit of fiction as well.
The spark that inspired my story-telling came from Cody, and the amazing friendship that developed between us over some years. Soul Buddies. He would arrive at school early in the mornings and head for the comp lab to read the latest chapter of whatever. "And I forgot to put damn toilet paper down my briefs so now I'm a total fucking mess!" It was that particular morning when he had to pretend to fall into the school pool on the way to class in order to have an excuse to wash his school pants and undies. Best compliment he ever paid me, and cracked me up completely.
Cody had a huge appetite for sex, so there was never any shortage of sex in the plots. Woohoo! But wall-to-wall sex gets a bit ho-hum after a while, so I delved into many other aspects of the human condition, especially in relation to the everyday highs and lows of teenagers; their struggles and triumphs, as well as just plain fun.
The result is a helluva surprise to me. No way in the world did I imagine I'd ever write such an enormous amount of stuff. I owe Cody big time, and always will.
